When using the services and software provided by Chili Security, the customer (henceforth “the Customer”) provides Chili Security with a variety of information, including personal data. This personal data is collected, registered and processed by Chili Security.
Chili Security is obliged to respect the provisions that apply to the processing of personal data, including the gathering, usage, storage, sharing, and protection of such data.
How does Chili Security process personal data?
All personal data is stored safely and in compliance with sufficient security measures. Such security measures are regularly verified in order to secure the Customer’s rights.
Why does Chili Security process personal data?
The Customer’s purchase of services and software from Chili Security is considered an instruction from the Customer to Chili Security to process the necessary personal data in order to fulfil the purpose of the delivering service and software in accordance to the agreement between Chili Security and the Customer.
The personal data gathered by Chili Security will mainly be used to complete the payment for such services and software.
Chili Security will only process personal data for the abovementioned purposes.
If the Customer has given his or her explicit consent to receive direct marketing, including news, offers etc. from Chili Security, Chili Security will also use the gathered information to target the marketing specifically to the Customer.
When the Customer sends an e-mail to or in any other way communicates with Chili Security, Chili Security is authorized to store such inquiries for the purpose of answering them as well as to improve the performance of Chili Security’s services.
Which personal data does Chili Security process?
In order to complete payment for the services and software provided by Chili Security, Chili Security gathers the Customer’s name (the name of a contact person in cases where the Customer is a business), address, telephone number, e-mail addresses, as well as other contact information and credit card information to be used for billing.
When the Customer uses Chili Security’s website, a number of server log files are automatically registered, which among other things can contain information about IP-addresses, type of browser, language of the browser and date and hour of requests. This information can be used to identify the Customer’s browser.
Who does Chili Security share personal data with?
The Customer’s personal data will only be given to such third parties or sub suppliers of services, necessary for Chili Security to provide the requested services and software to the Customer.
The access to personal data is limited to Chili Security’s employees and sub suppliers who, as part of their employment or delivery of services to Chili Security, needs to be able to access the personal data in question. All such employees or sub suppliers are subject to non disclosure agreements or data processing agreements.
What are my rights as a Customer?
If a Customer should wish to gain insight into his or her personal data processed by Chili Security, the Customer may contact Chili Security via e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org.
If any personal data is incorrectly registered or if the Customer has any other objections regarding the processing of personal data, the Customer may also contact Chili Security via e-mail at email@example.com and request that the registered personal data is rectified, blocked or deleted.
The Customer has the right to access his or her personal data processed by Chili Security as well as the Customer has the right to ask for a copy of all of his or her personal data currently or previously processed by Chili Security. In such cases, the Customer must contact Chili Security via e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org and request access or a copy of the personal data.
When is personal data deleted?
When the Customer buys services and software from Chili Security, Chili Security needs the Customer’s personal data as documentation until the service is paid for and delivered, as well as Chili Security may need to store personal data for taxation purposes etc. When there is no longer a purpose for the processing of personal data, such data will be deleted.
If the Customer has signed up for Chili Security’s newsletter or if the Customer has consented to Chili Security’s use of the Customer’s personal data for marketing purposes, the Customer’s personal data will be stored for 2 years after the Customer has unsubscribed from such services.
